Date: 19th January 2022

Start Time: 20:00

End Time: 21:00

Description:
Thinking about returning to NZ and wondering what to do about your UK pension? Tony Chamberlain of GB Pensions will walk us through the process illustrated by some practical case studies.

Tony Chamberlain worked for 18 years authorised and regulated in the UK, mostly spent as an Independent Financial Adviser, before arriving in New Zealand in 2005 to work as an investment portfolio manager, moving on to work for a QROPS provider. Qualified as Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter in 2010/2011 (only 46 in the country) and one of the first to be regulated as a Financial Adviser under the latest regulatory regime in New Zealand.

GBPensions is a New Zealand company, with no allegiance to any particular product or service provider. This fierce independence means that our clients' best interests, not our own, are our sole priority. Since 1988, GBPensions’ advisers have worked in the pensions industry, with experience spanning the UK, NZ and Australia. Our thorough knowledge of the UK and NZ pension and tax regimes, means we can utilise both UK and NZ pension schemes (SIPPs and QROPS) to provide clients with optimum results. Our philosophy is to give our clients ultimate control of their monies, as soon as possible in the most tax and cost-efficient way possible.
